| THE BEST SELLING IMAGE SUBJECTS - 22 Oct 2007
| | Lifestyle Images are the best selling subject. People in business, medicine, industry, on vacation & everyday situations. Couples, Families, Groups as well as Singles, Teenagers, Seniors and Children. Realistic situations are the best selling images. You can use friends & family as models in actual situations as well as professional models but all do need signed model releases. Studio portraits do sell but other images of people are best photographed in attractive, "real" surroundings. It is extremely important to supply a copy of available signed model releases with your submissions. These can be jpeg so as to show signatures.
If you are photographing in people's houses or workplaces, be sure to avoid any signs, magazines or other products with names clearly visible on them (Harry Potter T-shirts, Kellogs cornflakes packets etc. - names, logos etc. must not be visible in your pictures). You must have permission, preferably a signed release, for identifiable property used as the subject of your images or as location for images of people. |
